Meet with one of our adoptions counselors to discuss what kind pet you’re looking for and what would work best for you and your lifestyle. Once you learn about your future pet and it sounds like a great match, you will get to meet your new friend(s) outside in our play yard. If your pet meet is a success, you will spend a few minutes completing some paperwork and learning about the many extras” included with each adoption. Then you and your new family member can go home and begin your Furever” life. Adoption Fees Dogs/Puppies Puppy (6 months or less): $250 Adult Dog (7 months to 5 years): $80 Older Dog (5 years to 10 years): $50 Senior Dog (10+ years): Fee Waived Cats/Kittens Kitten (6 months or less): $85 Kittens (6 months or less): BOGO! Adult Cat (7 months to 10 years): $40 Senior Cat (10+ years): Fee Waived Other Animals Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds, Reptiles: $30.00 Small birds, mice, rats, hamsters: $10.00 Livestock, barnyard animals: $TBD Patron Pets Patron Pets are those animals (both cats and dogs) that due to breed, size, or public demand, spend very little time in our Adoption Center. The higher adoption fee allows us to help those animals that take longer to adopt or require more medical care than others. Patron Pet: $250 What Pets Receive A healthy pet examination from our Shelter Medicine Team, including a personalized medical assessment and treatment plan if needed. A behavior evaluation as well as enrichment and training while in our care. All age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Our dogs and puppies receive regular flea, tick, and heartworm protection while in our care, and our cats and kittens receive regular flea and tick preventative. A microchip to help ensure a safe return if your pet ever gets lost.
